As I have posted before I have been very busy the last few weeks. I hope to get back to regularly scheduled posting sooner than later. Currently I am in the process of re-vamping this blog. Even though this blog is only a couple of months old I need to make some adjustments, much like a football coach does throughout a game. Hopefully the things I have in mind will make this blog more fun to write as well as read, that is my goal any way.
If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. I will be gone for the next week on business but I hope to make regular updates throughout the week. Please don’t give up reading this as I have every intention of making it a “must read”. Thanks to all of you for reading.

 UBD
Unique Blog Designs is celebrating their first anniversary by having a context. The rules are pretty simple and I encourage everyone to enter as the prizes are pretty sweet.
How to enter:
- For one (1) contest entry - just reply to this post with a comment. Only one comment per person will be counted.
- For five (5) contest entries - write a blog post about the UBD 1-Year Anniversary Contest and link back to this post. If your blog post does not appear under the “Pingbacks,” leave a comment with a URL to the post.
The Prizes:
Grand Prize - Brand New 8GB iPod Touch ($299 value) and One (1) Copy of the New UBD Citrus WordPress Theme (coming next week).
Three (3) runner-up prizes include copies of the new UBD Citrus WordPress Theme.
Now that my entries are in I sure hope I win the new themes. I was really hoping the grand prize would be a unique blog design but that is asking for a bit much.

 The truth
It seems since I returned from vacation I have been way to busy to get any of my Internet projects completed. I stress the term Internet because I have actually accomplished a few things around the house in preparation for the baby that is due in November. Here is the reason I wish days were 36 hours long instead of 24:
1. Working on Build a Niche Store websites.
2. Need to complete the PPC Formula course.
3. Trying to work on a couple of other sites that I have domains and ideas for.
4. Thirty Day Challenge
5. Learn PHP
On top of this when I do get the sites done that I want to I then have to go to work promoting them and building backlinks. I did find a great blog called LinkBuildingBible that has some great information on how to build back links.
On the bright side of things I would much rather be busy than bored. I guess I will have to sit down and prioritze the above list so that I can get all my projects completed.

Michael Phelps My wife and I just finished watching the 4 x 100 m medley relay where Phelps won his eighth gold medal in the 2008 summer games. He now has 14 gold medals (16 total with two bronze medals). To say the least that is quite the accomplishment.
I wonder what it would be like to dominate something the way Phelps has dominated swimming, or Lance Armstrong did with the Tour de France, or even Tiger Woods with golf. It is really hard for someone like me to imagine that. I wish I could be in the top 25 of something let alone the best ever.
So I guess I will sit here and just keep plugging away in the hopes that one day I will be recognized for something I have done. This, I believe, is what truly drives me. It isn’t money (don’t get me wrong that is nice) but the drive to be just one of the best at something.
Who knows, maybe if I keep at it long enough it will happen. One thing is for certain, it won’t happen if I don’t try.

 Is there a SU Anonymous?
I signed up for a StumbleUpon account a couple of years ago but never used it. It was one of those things where I just didn’t see the appeal. For one I didn’t really get it and second I hated the fact that I would have to install a toolbar to effectively use it.
That all changed recently. I decided to check StumbleUpon out again. Mainly because I wanted to complete another task for Big Jason’s blogging contest.
This is where the addiction comes in. I am addicted to clicking the “Stumble” button to see what random site comes up next. Some pretty good sites of come up and I find myself adding several to my bookmarks.
Many of the sites I am bookmarking are related to web development and SEO. For that reason I have decided to share a few of them with you.
I bookmar two to three sites daily that I find using the random “Stumble” button. If you like these links let me know and maybe I will start posting more of them.
On an unrelated note, is it just me or is syncronized diving ALWAYS on television? It seems like everytime I turn on the Olympics that is the event NBC is showing. I don’t recall ever seeing it before this year and to be honest I have seen enough to last me a life time. My wife enjoys it but I think it is more the little Speedos the men wear than the actual competition. Oh well, maybe I will see the Team USA basketball team play yet.
