Ideas for blogging.
I'm full of ideas.
I always joke to my wife (and anyone else that will listen) that I am an idea man. I surf the web a lot and have been for years and am always looking for ideas. I thought I would post a few ideas to blog about if you are in a stump.
- Reviews - You see me doing this quite a bit. Reviews are not just filler. I know that I like to see people’s opinions on things when I read their blogs. There is usually someone out there that has questions about a service or product you are reviewing.
- Current Events - Chances are whatever niche your blog covers there are some current events to go along with it. For instance, I recently made posts about the Top Affiliate Challenge and the .ME domain extension going on sale.
- Contests - Either have one of your own or promote a contest someone else is having. These are normally pretty easy to find. John Chow and Collin LaHay are both having one right now.
- Personal Stuff - But you have a professional blog, you say? Who cares. As Tom from Stand Out Blogger found out personal posts on a professional blog are such a bad thing.
- Make a List - Make a list of your favorite websites or movies or blogs. Whatever, anything to break you out of that slump if you are in one.
Hopefully this entry will help you if you are currently in a slump. Or give you a few ideas even if you are not. So sit down and just start writing. Soon or later you will have a great post.
